Objective:To study the clinical effects and the mechanism of Xin Tong Tai be used to the patients with the Syndrome of Qi Stagnation and Blood Stasis of unstable angina pectoris(UA)Methods:60 patients with coronary heart disease unstable angina pectoris with the syndrome of Qi Stagnation and Blood Stasis were selected and randomly divided into 2 groups:30 cases in treatment gtoup were treated by westen drugs plus Xin Tong Tai and 30 cases in control group by westen drugs. And both of them should continue for 4 weeks. And observe the level of IL-6,IL-8,C-reactive protein (CRP); Tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α),blood fat, hemorheology,Angina symptoms, the syndrome of Traditional Chinese medicine, the change of ECG before and after treatment. Results:With a totle effective rate of angina pectoris of 86.7% in treating group and 73.3% in control group, which had a statistically significant difference (p<0.05). With the totle effective rate of Chinese medicine syndrome of 83.3% in treating group and 70.0% in control group, there was a statistically difference between the two groups(p<0.05). In terms of the therapeutic effect of ECG, the total effective rate in treating group and control group was 86.67% and 73.3% respectively and There was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05)。Both groups decreased the concentration of blood fat, which had a statistically significant difference (p<0.05). Both groups Reduced the level of IL-6 and IL-8, which had a statistically significant difference (p<0.01). Both groups Reduced the level of CRP and TNF-a, which had a statistically significant difference (p<0.01). Both groups improved hemorheology, which had a statistically significant difference (p<0 .01).Conclusions:Xin Tong Tai is an effective prescription to the patients with the Syndrome of Qi Stagnation and Blood Stasis of unstable angina pectoris; relieving the symptomes of angina pectoris, ameliorating heart muscle ischemia; which may take effect by decreasing all indexs of hemorheology and blood fat, and lowering the level of inflammatory factor as its therapeutic mechanism.
