The spatial metaphor is also known as orientational metaphor. It means that withreference to the spatial orientation formed a series of metaphorical concepts. Themetaphor is a mapping which changes from a familiar easy-to-understand startingdomain to a unfamiliar and difficult target domain. The mapping process force thebrain linked to the mentioned two things at a higher level. The spatial metaphorshows the law of human cognition of the world. The source domain of the spatialmetaphor in Uygur is spatial concept; and then builds other non-space-based targetdomain, at last use magic concept of space to describe the invisible abstractiveconcept. The spatial metaphor is significant for people to recognize the world.
