Handwriting analysis is a subject of the handwriting features of personality traits,handwriting analysis is mainly to solve the problem of the relationship betweenhandwriting and personality, it belongs to the field of applied psychology. Research onChinese handwriting and personality relations can not only enrich the appliedpsychology contents, but also have great significance for the fields of theoreticalresearch and practical application of psychological counseling, personnel management,education and criminal investigation.This study uses14handwriting features through reviewing literature. By using theEysenck Personality Questionnaire tested580college students, and collected thehandwriting samples of the handwriting test materials they copied within the specifiedtime. Examine the relationship of personality traits and handwriting features,handwriting characteristics of the four temperament types of students and thedifferences in handwriting characteristics of male and female students.We can draw the following conclusions from this study:First, the writing speed and the degree of Illegible of higher group of inside andoutside the dump, neuroticism, psychoticism are significantly greater than the lowergroup. The writing pressure of higher group of inside and outside the dump,nervousness, the psychoticism is significantly greater than the lower group. The tiltinghorizontal stroke length, vertical program length, the size of the words, and theleft-leaning font extent of higher group of inside and outside the dump are significantlyless than the lower group, and it of the higher group of neuroticism and psychoticismare significantly higher than the lower group. The degree of the horizontal strokes tiltline and of deviation from the level of the higher group of neuroticism is significantlygreater than the lower group, and there is no significantly difference between it of thehigherr group of inside and outside the dump, the psychoticism and the lower group.The left blank of the higher group of inside and outside the dump is significantly greater than the lower group, the right blank of the higher group of inside and outside the dumpis significantly less than the lower group. There is no significantly difference betweenthe blank of left or right of the higher and lower group of neuroticism, andpsychoticism.Second, the word score of overview of choleric, sanguine students is significantlyhigher than it of melancholic, phlegmatic students; and there is no significantlydifference between it of choleric students and sanguine students. No significantdifferences in depression students and phlegmatic students on the overview of the wordscore; the score of writing pressure of choleric students is significantly higher than it ofsanguine, melancholic, phlegmatic students, and no significantly difference in sanguine,melancholic and phlegmatic on writing pressure; the word line space of the phlegmaticstudents is significantly smaller than the choleric, sanguine, melancholic students. Theword line space of choleric, sanguine, melancholic students is not significantly different;the left blank of sanguine students is significantly greater than it of the choleric,phlegmatic, melancholic students; and the right blank of sanguine students aresignificantly smaller than the choleric, phlegmatic, melancholic students. It does notexit significant differences between the left or right blank of the choleric, phlegmatic,melancholic students.Third, female college students in the writing speed significantly lower than males,the degrees of Illegible of men are significantly higher than girls; boys in writingpressure of horizontal strokes and vertical zoned is significantly greater than girls; thelength of boys in the horizontal stroke, vertical program exceeds extent of the text bodyis significantly greater than girls, and the words of boys is significantly greater than thewords of the girls, the degree of tilt of the word to the left of the boys was significantlygreater than girls; horizontal stroke of the boys handwriting tilt was significantly greaterthan the girls, that is, horizontal paddle toward deviation from the level significantlygreater than this in girls.
