On The Contemporary Chinese Culture Transformation And Facing The Problems And Countermeasures

Our country is in the period of cultural transformation now，so it is of realisticmeanings. Meanwhile, the issue of cultural transformation is not an individualphenomenon which only exists in our country, and it is a realm concerned by manyscholars of culture. On the base of general cognition of cultural transformation, this paperdiscussed the main problems faced by us, and of course, some suggestion of renovationsis presented.Firstly, we analyzed the nature of cultural transformation, and deem it as a kind ofspecial movement which happed in the realm of culture and which is a quantity changingin short time. The cultures in the period of transformation should be emphasized heavily,because it is related closely with the transformation of whole society. Correctlyaccelerate this transformation is meaningful to our economical development.Secondly, Chinese cultural transformation is always a part in the long progress ofChinese traditions, and today’s fruits are most splendid. In this period, problems beloware manifested: first, general situation in cultural transformations; second, specialsituations in China. We have to pay enough attention to the latter question, and unlesssuch questions are resolved fruitfully, we cannot get a better cultural future.Thirdly, we think that the dialectic understanding in this issue is necessary and inwhich such3relationships should be stressed, i.e. culture and economic, modern-nessand national-ness, and the one and many and in which the policy to guide is controlled.Finally, the reasonable policy suggestion is discussed in this paper, and which maylet our culture well developing. We should insist the orientation of socialism, let thechanging in mind firstly and create the new culture thought synthesis method, and onlythen can our aim of culture transforming will be well achieved.In sum, the problem we faced is very complicated, which is a modernization of ourtradition and is a problem of internationalization of our national culture, and of course itis more like a problem of accomplishment of Marxism theory itself. We stand in the fieldof Marxism and according to dialectic materialism analyzed the issue, though all we acquired above should be verified through more thinking and new practice. But all in all,we hold steady belief and persistent enthusiasm to our purpose in this movement ofcultural transformation.
