The so-called "Confucian cultural circle" is the Confucian culture that are built on the social area collectively, also known as "Chinese cultural circle" or "East Asian cultural circle". The social area refers to the close cultural, political influence of China and Chinese culture by history, past or present still use Chinese characters, cultural practices similar areas. "Confucian cultural circle" covering parts of East and Southeast Asia, including Japan, South Korea, North Korea, Vietnam and other countries.
