The Study Of Regional Cultural Differences In City Gifts Design

Under the background of urban development, this paper can reconstruct the system of citygifts to make it more perfect, which is based on the regional culture. For the disadvantagesof the existing city gifts, it presents the design principles of city gifts considering thedifference of regional culture. For the confusion of existing city gifts, this paper analyzesthe categories of city gifts and the pattern of further development. At the end of this article,it choose Hangzhou as the example of city gift design, by the analysis of regional culture,it assess the rationality and design a group of gifts which can reflect the local culture ofHangzhou.First of all, based on the summary of the origin of culture and regional culture and theanalysis of materialized form relationship between culture and regional culture, it canmake additional remarks about the relation by physical determinism. it find the point cutof the materialized form of regional culture, introduce the concept of city gifts and thenmake further discussion and analysis.Secondly, based on the above analysis, it can conclude the disadvantages of existingcity gifts, in order to solve these problems it reconstruct the system of city gifts and set upa new form system of city gift. Under the analysis of the origin and development trend ofcity gifts, it presents the methods and design principles which can be used to make citygifts classified. Furthermore, it also discusses the new pattern of tendency of city gifts andfinds the component of product form and technique of expression with multi models.Thirdly, this paper chooses Hangzhou as an example, analyze the features of localculture and design city gifts. It uses the above principles and methods, by analogy,function creative thinking and form analysis technique, it also make the feasibility analysisand assessment of our design.
