This paper probes on the New Vocabulary Teaching Methods.in Newspaper and magazineReading Course of Teaching Chinese as a foreign language(TCSL).In the past, the research onNew Vocabulary Teaching focuses on the teaching content and very common vocabularyteaching method. We now probe to find a new teaching method with the participant ofstudents and teachers. First, teachers could try to make the best use of Net News Headlinessuch as they could make the statistic of frequency in language use on the use the new wordsand vocabulary in Net News Headlines.Then the teachers will analyze the origin, meaning andcultural factors for those new vocabulary used in high frequency in class.At the same time,teachers would offer some tasks and examples for students to study the use of new vocabularyin the context of Net News Headlines. In this way, the students could improve the self-studyability by active learning but not the passive learning.
