It classifies and analyzes the molding process and thebackground of the decorative features, production process, decorative parts,decorative patterns of the Xinjiang Yingjisha knife with the methods of collectinginformation, doing interviews and comparative analysis. And on this basis, combinedwith related pictures and historical data, the thesis does a deeper research of themulti-cultural behind the decorative and shape of the Xinjiang Yingjisha knifeThe thesis consists of five chapters. Chapter1is introduction, which introducesthe research background of the Xinjiang Yingjisha knife’s Molding process and thedecorative features, and also the the innovation and weaknesses of the study. Itexplores the profound historical and cultural overview behind the decorative featuresand the molding process of the Xinjiang Yingjisha knife in chapter2. Molding typesof Xinjiang Yingjisha knife is introduced in chapter3, so is its production processesand technology. Chapter4elaborates the decorative features of Xinjiang Yingjishaknife through4parts as decorative parts, decorative patterns, decorative layout anddecorative color. We all take itas a perfect folk art which contains a high degree of harmony unity and its perfectembodiment.Through the basic research of molding process and decorative features ofXinjiang Yingjisha knife, the thesis concludes that: Xinjiang Yingjisha knife is aproduct of Xinjiang’s unique geographical environment and cultural history; itsexistence and development are compatible with the traditional culture of the Uygur;its shape, decoration and production process showing the characteristics of thediverse cultures, and in the long-term development, it forms a unique style ofworking knowledge of co-ethnic aesthetic orientation and cultural and artistic value.Xinjiang Yingjisha knife’s existence also helps to understand the Xinjiang Uygurcultural and artistic value, enhance the awareness of the people of Uygur folktraditional arts and crafts culture, and it contributes to Xinjiang traditional folk artsand crafts and cultural system.
