The rhythm is an very important part of the music performance. We need to study it carefully from Chopin’s piano compsitions mathmatical means.Although the piano performance of each era has the same methord,the performance of piano compsitions which has its own trait, especially its rhythm in Romatic era is different from other periods’. Chopin,whose compitions are the representative ones in that time, is one of the most typical musicians in Romantic period.Thereinto,make Chopin’s etudes as an example. These etudes are quite different from other etudes.They has not a simple sense, but have a certain rhythm which can futher reflect the feature of Romantic music.In addition, using some mathmatical theories and graphs could analyse and prove its rhythm.Thus,this method that can make us see the rhytnm’character much more intuitively not only enrich our theoretical knowledge of the Romatic pieces,but also can help us play the Romatic pieces better.When play these compsitions, we can not only correctly play the thythm of Romantic music and enrich our perceptual cognition, but also can comprehend this period’s works much better.
