The Research On Natural Interaction In Smart Home Product UI Design

Natural interaction is a more natural, more intuitive and closer to human behavior a human-computer interaction. As new technologies are developing,the natural user interface has been applied a wide range of electronic products. The natural user interface design has become the inevitable trend of development.Based on analyzed the feature of the Internet of Things, the relationship between human and computer was discussed on this paper. By analyze the new technologies and phenomenon appeared currently, prospect and necessity of applying NUI to electronic product was analyzed,afterward an example of smart home design, was taken to study the NUI application on electronic product in detail.Finally, by theoretical analysis and case study,conclusions were drawn as follow:Firstly, harmonious human-computer relationship is a prerequisite to achieve natural interaction.Secondly, we explore the basic laws of conduct and behavior habits, creating a number of design principles for guiding product design, in which can adapt to people’s natural tendency to the highest degree and eliminate the gap between people and products. With the ever-changing technological environment, in human computer interaction more natural factors combine to give people a stronger sense of reality, dedication and sense of identity, so that works directly touched by the user.Finally, the paper summarizes the common design methods of natural kansei in order to give some guidance, with my own design projects as cases probing into feasibility and validity of the methods.
