Yin Keng was one of the representative poets in the last stage ofthe Southern Dynasty. In his times he enjoyed a reputation. In theTang dynasty he was praised many times by Du Fu . His work gainedhigh appraisals by experts of this field in past dynasties. However, fora long time due to the academic circle was biased against literatureof the Six Dynasties . Yin Keng and his poem did not get the dueattention.And because the historical material lack, research is lateand at present there are controversial about his life story .This paperchoose Yin Keng and his pomes as research object. So as to promotesomewhat in this field. The full text is dived into five parts.The first part is mainly about Yin Keng’s life experience and theimportant events. Yin Keng’s hometown ,the birth and death year ,thetime of the first official position and his friend situation will bediscussed . put forward some new raw views about these problems.Based on YinKeng ’s pomes and the relevant historical documents YinKeng ’s native is thought in An Xiang of Hunan province today andthought "shimen" in included two places not only the home ofYinKeng-- Hu Nan shi men also Hou Andu’s hometown----Guang DongShi Xing. According to the study of Mr Zhao Yiwu and Mr. Dai Weihuaand based on the related historical materials and poetic content thetime was about during 526AD-528AD . And according to the time of the first office Yin Keng was born during 501AD ---503 AD and diedduring 567AD ---around 570 AD. About the poet’s friends situation.Now only 12 people with the historical data record are mentioned.Thsecond part of Yin Keng’s thoughts. Through the study on thepoem and the influence of age and life environment the conclusion isdrawn that Confucian thought was his main thought with Taoismthought and Buddhism thought .The third part the connotation of Yin Keng’s pomes. Yin Keng’spoems have rich connotations.Peace and open-minded realm oflife ,sorrowful love and homesickness , the sad and deep feeling ofseparate ways, noble graceful human nature,peaceful quiet life ideal,sincere friendship, lingering of homesickness sentiment, worry aboutthe future of the country and the sympathy to the lower strata people.Pomes have the positive social significance.The forth part is the aesthetic style of Yin Keng’spomes .Expression of landscape lyrical and artistic conceptionreflected the "bei" ,"li" ,"qing" and "chou" aesthetic characteristics ofthat time.The fifth part Yin Keng’s pomes and poetic circle of Southerndynasty. On the form, three aspects the angle of the character of theexact word, rhythmic harmony and literary quotation embodied theaesthetic pursuit of the southern dynasty poetic circle . His poeticform laid the foundation for the final shape of the five words metricalpoems in the tang dynasty . From the content to see, Yin Keng’spomes was full of feeling and positive social significance. They weredifferent from the southern dynasty pomes especially "gongti"pomesprevailing at that time. Yin Keng was the representative of elegant poets of six dynasties.His pomes represented the correct road ofpoems.
