This article, named "On Zhou Zuoren’s Aesthetic Thought about Interest", is divided into three sections. The first section is introduction. The second section, including three parts, mainly analyzes the core meanings of taste of Zhou Zuoren. Taking aesthetic form as the entry point, this article concretely analyzes the aesthetic connotation and aesthetic features which embedded in the following three chapters. The first chapter "The Aesthetic Form of Taste of Zhou Zuoren" finds that Zhou Zuoren wanted to approach to a materialization life state, and the aesthetic connotation of taste is converted into "Xin Qu" from "Wu Qu". The second chapter "The Aesthetic Connotation of Taste of Zhou Zuoren", mainly elaborates the aesthetic connotation of "taste" from two aspects which are "Li Qu" and "Xie Qu". The third chapter illuminates the "taste" as "Qing Qu" which contains "common sense" and "reason".The third section of this article is the fourth chapter "The Retrospection of Zhou Zuoren’s Aesthetic Thought about taste". We clearly illuminate that the aesthetic thought of taste is an experience and state of life that Zhou Zuoren persisted in his life. And then we analyze the thought of interest from three aspects. Firstly, it can be traced back to the aesthetic pursuit of the intellectuals in the period of the May 4th Movement, which tend to be free and nature, and the times background deeply influenced the Zhou Zuoren’s aesthetic thought about taste. Secondly, "taste", as key word of Zhou Zuoren’s aesthetic thought, is based on Zhou Zuoren’s experience of life. Thirdly, "taste" is an indispensable part of Zhou Zuoren’s life sate.In short, Zhou Zuoren’s aesthetic thought of "taste" originates from the aesthetic form of "Wu Qu", the "Xin Qu" is the aesthetic connotation, and the "Qing Qu" is the aesthetic feature. In this article, we try to clearly illuminate and deconstruct rationally the "taste" of Zhou Zuoren from three aspects. At last, we find that Zhou Zuoren pursuit an aesthetic state of freedom and nature, and want to reach to an experience of life. He achieved the unity of the life experience and the realm of life.
