Being is a question which Heidegger asking through his lifetime, and histhinking is a huge difference with the traditional metaphysics. His eyes is on thepeople, and that only through the analysis of people’s existence, we canunderstand what being is. His representative work "Being and Time" embodiesthe analysis of dasein. Therefore, this essay departures from his "Being andTime" to grasp Heidegger’s being. We start with Heidegger’s question of being. The first part is that why heasked the meaning of being, and the significance of asking what the being is.What is the importance of this question, and how to start to question the meaningof being, from the guide in the concept for which the analysis of existence canbe analyzed out of being. The second part is the analysis of the dasein living in the world. Dasein isliving in the world, the dasein’s living is integrated with the world, dasein andthe world is one thing, we can say dasein is the world, the world isdasein. However, this part can be divided into four small components toelaborate. The first, dasein is living in the world, the meaning of this world isdifferent from the concept of Descartes’, of which’s nature is the extension ofspace, however, this world is together with me, Heidegger ’s concept of the worldstill has a Cartesian world’s space nature. Second part, living in the world’sdasein always keeps things and people to deal with. The things which in dealingwith can be referred to as appliances, dasein can be called to besorge withappliances, dasein in dealing with others’ dasein can be called fursorge, fursorge and besorge both are sorge. Sorge is dasein’s way of living. Living and dealing with things, use the handy appliances, revealed this in the melt in theappliance world. Third part, dasein is dealing with others’ dasein in theday-to-day existence. They are always for others, this is actually not really living,non-true survival of dasein’s living, but dasein lives, and in its daily life, it liveslike that, which does not contain the meaning of morality.Fourth part, is the Comparison of Heidegger’s world and Descartes’. Thereason why the author wrote this part is that dasein’s living is always matter withthe world, while the Cartesian concept of the world as a traditional representativeof the metaphysical philosophers who see the world in fact have a huge impact, and the same time, without adequate analysis of Descartes’ concept of the world,Heidegger has been making the analysis of the dasein. The third part, is the comments of Heidegger’s concept of being. This part canbe divided into two small parts, the first part is Heidegger’s criticism oftraditional metaphysics, he criticized the traditional metaphysics, in fact he mademetaphysics root a deeper foundation. Metaphysics is rooted in human’s natureitself, which traditional metaphysics already yet forgotten, only to pay attentionto the sky. Heidegger seek to being through people’s exist, and from people’severyday lives has opened up a new path to metaphysics, which had atremendous impact on modern Western philosophy. Existentialism is aproof. The second component is based on our lives, if we look the world as ourhome, perhaps, the relationship between man and nature will become moreharmonious.
