Appellation is irreplaceable in the human language, which occupiesa pivotal position in its expanding the communication between people.Regardless of any country or region in the world and which kind oflanguage the local people using, appellation has always been the mostfrequently used words in everyday life. Kinship terms as an importantpart of the system of Appellation, its accurately used in the smoothdevelopment of the communication has a crucial role.China and Mongolia are good neighbors. In recent years, with the"Chinese fever" around the world continues to heat up, as a closeneighbor of Mongolia, more and more people are eager to learn Chinese.However, Chinese and Mongolian belongs to a different language, sotheir respective kinship terms also have their own characteristics andnational cultural identity. In order to improve Mongolian students’communicative competence, this article by the Comparison of Chineseand Mongolian kinship terms, to explore suitable methods of teachingChinese kinship terms for Mongolian students to study.The paper is divided into five parts: The first part introduces thereasons of this article’s topic, research methods and the status of researchin the relevant content; The second part describes the Chinese andMongolian system of kinship terms, and makes comparison and analysisbetween the two systems; The third part describes the Chinese languageteaching situation in Mongolia, and make analysis of the bias and reasonswhich Mongolian students make in the process of learning Chinesekinship terms; the fourth part gives some advice on teaching Mongolianstudents for Chinese kinship terms language; the fifth part summarizesthe full-text content.
