Chinese and Albanian languages belong to different appellation systems,therefore there are great differences in the appellation system.There are many differences in terms of pragmatic,family types,economic structure,cognitive styles,patriarchal concepts and value orientation of Chinese and Albanian kinship terms.We take the students of the Confucius Institute at Tirana University as the research object.In the form of a questionnaire survey,they conducted surveys and statistics on the teaching,usage,and learning of Chinese appellations of relatives,also conducts an investigation and analysis of Chinese teaching situation at Tirana by means of oral interview.Through comparative analysis and data analysis methods to understand the similarities and differences of the Chinese and Albanian kinship terms in terms of classification,address features,pragmatic habits and cultural connotations,we try to analyze the problems that the local students have when learning Chinese kinship terms,and supposed to find why Chinese teaching leads to the problems and give some teaching strategies for kinship terms.The thesis is divided into five chapters.The details are summarized as follows:The first chapter expounds the research reasons,significance and the current research status in China and aboard on address terms and kinship terms.The second chapter mainly compares the appellation terms of the two languages from the same points,different points and cultural connotations of Chinese and Albanian's appellations.The third chapter explains the questionnaire and systematically analyzed the data that we got.It also conducts statistical analysis of the relative terms of the Chinese textbooks and syllabuses currently being used by Confucius Institute at Tirana University and found out the defect in Chinese textbooksThe fourth chapter puts forward the specific teaching strategies and suggestions of the Chinese and Albanian kinship appellation on the basis of the problems found previously,also explain the points of textbook-making we need pay attention to.The fifth chapter is the summary of the main viewpoints,and also points out the shortcomings in the thesis.
