Music is the mirror of the culture and country. Classic and Korean Musicis consisted of it same way. The one is has been developed at the center of the Grees, andinfluenced over all over the Europe. Multi vocal-Music has been developed there, as itchanges more and more piano music and instrumental has been developed.The other has been influenced at the center of Northeast Asia, at the same time it hasinfluenced of Japanese Music. Korean Music has both its own traits and Northeast styleMusic too.Thus this paper is intend to survey the definition of Korean Music, history, instrument,orchestra, scores, the score pattern, key, scale, the other traits etc. Above all this paper showsthe comparative study of Classic and Korean Music. The main reason is why we candistinguish the contrast between the two Music style, and we can approach the understandingof the original Korean Music style and its cultural background by the way.First of all it shows the definition of Korean Music. By this definition, we canparaphrase the over all traits of Korean Music and each generational times’ music style. Eachgeneration has its own style alone in it and transforming traits and its change.
