Integrity is five thousand years of Chinese civilization accumulated tradition of excellence,but also the essence of the Confucian culture. Integrity as a people“self-cultivation, regulatingthe family, country and world,”is the fundamental requirements of the basic moral of theChinese nation. The pre-Qin is the virtue of integrity colorful period, Confucian sages are veryrespected the integrity of virtue, and put forward his own original opinion. Confucius believedthat integrity is one of the important manifestations of the“kernel”, to require“handles mattersconscientiously believes”,“believes sincerely”. Mencius believed that“honesty”is the law ofnature, the fundamental moral principle of people, which is the highest morality and regardedintegrity as one of the“five relationships”. Xunzi particular emphasis on integrity is animportant principle of Confucian culture, and proposes to“keep the heart of good at honesty”,“the decree letter, the decree does not believe those weak”point of view. They all attachimportance to the integrity of the social function as self-cultivation, friends, life skills,necessary for the political virtue. Integrity and moral resources of the pre-Qin Dynasty is theorigin of the traditional Chinese moral integrity, and its feudal society had a profound impact .In recent years, the issue of integrity increasingly attaches great importance to the partyand the government and the community. Report to the Seventeenth Party Congress pointed outthat integrity is the hallmark of civilization of the country and nation is the basic requirementsof building a socialist core value system, to enhance the awareness of honesty as the focus, andstrengthen social morality, professional ethics, family virtues and individual morality. Theseventh session of the Sixth Plenary Session of the integrity of the building in a prominentposition, and vigorously promote the Chief honesty, business integrity, social integrity andjudicial integrity of the building, and to establish a sound credit information system covers theentire society, and increase efforts to discipline for acts of dishonesty in the whole of society toform a trustworthy glorious promises shameful atmosphere.This article by combing the pre-Qin Confucian virtue of the system to clarify the conceptof integrity and good faith in the moral system; and then expounded the pre-Qin Confucianvirtue of integrity historical origins, historical background and development trajectory; alsofocuses on the basic content and features of the pre-Qin Confucian virtue of integrity, and madethe history evaluation; On this basis, after a profound analysis of the virtue of the pre-QinConfucian integrity, that the modern transformation of the challenges, combined with therealistic characteristics of contemporary social development on the principles, approaches and content of the pre-Qin Confucian virtue of integrity ’s modern transformation.In this paper, a documentary research, qualitative analysis and comparative analysis, tryingto organize and read the pre-Qin Confucian classics literature on the basis of an objectiveanalysis of the virtue of integrity, compare the pre-Qin Confucian virtue of integrity andmodern integrity thought, digging the meeting point between the two, trying to achieve theconversion of the pre-Qin Confucian virtue of integrity to the modern society. In this paper,according to the requirements of the times gave the pre-Qin Confucian virtue of integrity withnew content and features, takes its essence, goes to its dregs, the traditional concept of integritytransformed into part of the socialist moral system, to promote traditional Chinese culture, tostrengthen the construction of the socialist market economy and the construction of social creditsystem has the important value.
