Man’s thoughts affect their behavior of consciousness; therefore the stylist who is developing thedesign is also like this. In the process of design development, all sorts of new ideas; numerous design style,leads to innovative creation. The technology of the18th century art movement broke through the bigindustrial failure of production design. The20th century modernistic style development broke through theclassical European art form of profound influence, and China’s design although started late, with its vastlearning, exploration and influence of the western design, at the same time bursting into many newideological trend, had then pushed the Chinese design of consciousness to change again.Focusing on the topic of Shanghai’s2006“Hyper-Design " Biennale as the main body of research,through "Hyper-Design" related material, reorganization and summary, as well as the analysis of literature,field of investigation, comparative research of the humanities and social science research method, with thecombination of historical phenomenon, analyzing the "Hyper-Design" biennale design work in the presentcondition, mode and organizational form. To explore new periods of changes and its design awareness, inthe new period of influence for the modern Chinese design style.The sixth Shanghai Biennale the previous five accumulated experience on the basis of the visionbased on the local for the global environment domain."Hyper-Design", an important element ofcontemporary visual culture-design, in order to explore the design as an attitude toward life, the aestheticform and the complexity of the social model, staggered connotation."Hyper-Design" fully demonstratedthe Shanghai Biennale as a representative of the design strength of cultural taste of the international designexchange. Design, not only as a means to demonstrate its functionality and, more importantly, it penetratesthe aesthetic will contain artistic value. The design is not only the creation of a work also points to a seriesof lifestyle, social ideals and history projects, from this perspective, the design to the era of " Hyper-Design".This paper discusses the design consciousness of "Hyper", mainly from the following five chaptersdiscussed: The first chapter of this article focuses on the extensive outlined research; significance of thisissue and the research institute method. The second chapter tackles on design concept of consciousness, the analysis between "Hyper-Design" background and history, and "Hyper-Design" phenomenon. The thirdchapter as "Hyper-Design" biennale’s further analysis and further design awareness in the new period ofchange. The fourth chapter mainly focused on "Hyper-Design" consciousness, leading to new designcriteria and judgment of consciousness. Lastly, the fifth chapter expounding on "Hyper-Design" forChinese contemporary design style and the influence of the biennale triggers a series of design thoughts.
