The Study Of Xufguan’s Wenqi Concept

XuFuguan is one of the important members of the modern new Confucian, theacademia in the mainland China put their attraction on his political thoughts andintellectual history ideas, part of researchers focused their emphasis on his literary areas,including "Heart-Mind" ideological theory, artistic spirit theory and the "Experience"literature research method, without paying much attention to his some important categorieson China classical literary theory. Actually,the research on the category is an important partof XuFuguan’s China classical literary study, it’s also a significant perspective toinvestigate his literary thoughts. In response to this, this article select one of the scopestudy of XuFuguan’s Chinese classical literature–"WenQi" as the object, in order to do asystemtic exposition, reveal its theoretical contributions, and explore its guidingimplication for the present literary creation.This paper is divided into three parts:Preface、text and epilogue.In the preface,itmainly present the stage of XuFuguan’s life as well as the status of the research of hisliterary thought and the innovation of thir article.In the text, there are four chapters. Thefirst chapter show the origin of XuFuguan’s WenQi concept,pointing out its mainly theresult of the influence of classic literature and his personality.The second chapter seeks outthe content of the concept, finding out the style which is theresearch background of"WenQi",at the same time,the concept include two parts-"strength of character" and "vigorof style".The third chapter probes into the feature about XuFuguan’s "WenQi"concept,which covers two points:non-metaphysical nature and moral nature.The forth chapteranalysizes the value of the XuFuguan’s "WenQi"concept, including his contribution to thestudy of Chinese classical literature and the meaning signifiance to the today ’s literary andartistic creation.The last part summarize the whole paper.
