Cosplay translated as "role play", rooted in the Japanese anime game industry,whichis a play comic, game other cultural products characters and plots in the youth cultureactivities. After the mature development in Japan, China’s Hong Kong and Taiwan regions,Cosplay jump down to mainland China by the new media Internet, blossoming aparticularly vigorous vitality. The ethnic group in the composition of adolescents in thenetwork space, established the cultural environment freely with Cosplay.And the dramaticcharacters of play,"transvestite" and gender notions of temperament, ethnic culture capitalaccumulation,which is the most obvious cultural representations of it.Through the play,transvestite and the ethnic boundary cultural practice, teenagers to the unique gesture,resistance and subversive teasing parents class and mainstream social values, complete theideal self and group identity.Based on identity theory of the culture research in the field as the core,the researcherelaborated Cosplay subculture based on the cyberspace from the self, gender, group,culture angle, and strive to make a comprehensive description,that intended to reveal thepotential practice meaning and style connotation in the youth culture form.The thesis is consists of introduction, text and conclusion for mainly.The introductionintroduces the research background, present situation, research object and researchmethod.The text is divided into five parts: the first chapter for the Cosplay cultural history,and an overview of domestic Cosplay picture, summed up the mainland Cosplay ethniccharacteristics; in the second chapter,"play" as the core, to analysis the adolescent egoidentity practice by "play--Analysis of identity" of this psychological mechanism inCosplay activities in the performance; third chapter to elaborate the "easy" in Cosplayculture, with the gender identity problems, focus on resistance to the gender stereotypes byadolescents and overturn to the already gender temperament; the fourth chapter discussedthe Cosplay online/outline cultural production, boundary establishment, groups of culturalidentity in the practice from the group identity of ethnic group; the fifth chapter studied theincorporation and confrontation situation between the Cosplay sub-culture and foreign culture,mainstream society, commercial power in the macro background,and analyzed thepath of Cosplay true spirit collapse and reconstruction.The part of conclusion is madereview, and summarizes the existing problems.
