As the Chinese-studying fever continues in recent years, more and more novice teachers have joined in this teaching team and became an important component. How do they feel with their teaching work during their adaptation period and what kinds of training do they need do matter for the progress of our whole teaching career. These are the contents that my paper is studying. And based on these, I will provide some advices for the novice and their training course. With the methods of questionnaire investigation for the novices including one for some graduates of this major and case studies, I find most of novices are doing well during the adaptation period, but the lack of practical teaching knowledge appears to be a biggest bug for them. So they need to pay more attention and work more to increase practical teaching knowledge.
