Cross—Strait Three Regions only incluldes mainland,HongKong,Taiwan.Because the glyph specification of Macau is not mature,so this article would not disscus about it.A large difference of Chinese Character between three areas is the directly reasons why I have chosen this theme. These difference incluldings:differences in traditional and simplified glyphs, differences in commonly characters, micro differences of characters differences in other glyph variant. These objective differences hindered the interaction of the three places, hindered the development of the three areas of socio-economic culture and the healthy development of Chinese characters, hindered the improvement the international prestige of Chinese characters,and hindered new era of people requirements of the book the same language of the desire of coming ture.These are our fervent hope that the Chinese territory can book the same language.This paper, "shu tong wen" specifically refers to record the Chinese system of symbols, although the Chinese alphabet, numbers, punctuation, etc plays an important roles to record the Chinese, but space is limited, we only discuss the writing of Chinese Characters.The paper is divided into five sections:The first chapter, Introduction. Clarify the significance of the topic and reasons. Summary the current Chinese characters and the study condition of "shu tong wen"; The second chapter, the complexity of the dispute with the writing. Quantitative analysis the difference of taditional and simplified glyphs,and exploreing the writing of several possible; The third chapter, commonly used words and "shu tong wen".Statistics summarized the difference in the glyphs of the characters commonly used in three places, and point that the integration of commonly used words is the basis of "shu tong wen";Chapter IV, the variant and "shu tong wen". Analysis the variant forms study conditions,pointing out that the principles and methods of the variant forms is directly related to the development of shu tong wen"; Chapter V, The outlook of "shu tong wen". According to the last chapters of the study, analysis dredge the possibility and the complexity of the probable evolution the outlook of "shu tong wen".The paper concluded that:Simplification is consistent with the historical development of Chinese characters, but not simply equal to the reduction in stroke. Future simplify system of Chinese characters is the optimization and upgrading of the existing simplified characters, and be approvaled by three areas. The simplified of principles and approach are combined the three Chinese characters developed jointly, conforming with the three people common aspiration. Therefore, we believe that the Chinese nation of "shu tong wen"can be achieved, but there is a long way to go.
