| This paper mainly studies the phenomenon of native English-speaking studentsoften appears in the acquisition of Chinese adverbial. First this paper compare andanalysis the structure and the order of Chinese and English adverbial, by contrast,found that there are many differences in the structure. Because English has a wealth ofmorphological changes, the participle and the infinitive can act as adverbial, whilein Chinese there is no such a situation; In the word order, Chinese adverbial usuallylocated between the subject and the predicate, English adverbial often in the end ofthe sentence. Then according to the error of the native English-speaking studentsmade in Chinese adverbial acquisition, from the view of adverbial missing, redundant,misuse and wrong sequence, this paper analysis the errors when adverbs,prepositional phrases, Modal verbs, nouns, adjectives act as Chinese adverbial. Finally,this paper analysis the reasons of the error of the native English-speaking studentsmade in Chinese adverbial acquisition, and put forward some teaching strategies andrecommendations. |
