The Historical Novel about the Ming and Qing official history is aspecial category of novels. It’s same as "Kingdoms" in Ming dynasty and"according to the history of Romance" or "historical events Kingdoms inQing dynasty. The type of novel began with "The history of the threeKingdoms Popular Romance”, and ended with historical novel’s debilityin the Qianlong later period.Entered the Ming Dynasty, the historical novel became the commonnovels and emerged into public view. Furthermore, the historical novel ontext creation and criticism were booming at that time. Literary theoristand historian arise different compression about novel concepts in the fieldof practice and criticism. One hand, historians thought Taoism and realityimportant, on the other hand, Literary theorist were fond of the odd andunreal world. Based on these different points, scholars started a longdiscussion with relationship between the historical truth and fiction forthe Historical Novel.Historical novels began to transformation period in the late Ming andearly Qing dynasties, meanwhile, it is prosperous period for historicalnovels’ writing. We summarizes the significance and impact which Maoand his son modified and assessed “Three Kingdoms” in the Qing Dynasty. Mao and his son ‘s comment on "Three Kingdoms" inherited JinShengtan’s literary thought, especially in the structure and character.On this basis, we think Mao’s ideological tendencies and laws of creationabout historical novels to occupy an important place on the history of thenovel theory in ancient China. As far as aspects are concerned, Mao andhis son’s ideological tendencies comments, characters and structure aboutthe "Three Kingdoms" are closely related to thought of fiction and reality.In the mid-Qing Dynasty, another important historical novel critic--CAI Yuanfang, his comments about "Eastern Zhou Chi" represented thetypical heavy Record on fiction and reality view in the ancient historicalnovels. CAI Yuanfang mainly Commented “The Eastern Zhou Chi" fromtwo aspects: firstly, he attached great importance on “the foreword” ofeach chapter and “read law "in the historical novels. There are hugegaps and contradictions between the Cai Yuanfang’s comment theory andcreative practice on the "Eastern Zhou Chi”. However, the majority ofscholars on the comments of “the Eastern Zhou Chi”also exist someerrors. As a result of ours little knowledge about Cai Yuanfang’scomments about “The Eastern Zhou Chi”and little emphasis. Secondly,He penetrated his purposes to persuade and civilize in this book.According to this assess, we mainly reviewed the Ji Gu, military forces,designed and figures and other aspects.
