With the rapid development of computer technology and more extensive network of peoplefacing, people have realized the enormous potential value of Internet for child while children inthe future market will be very fast growth rate.Nowadays more and more children use theInternet, increasingly early age. However, most of the existing children’s Web site is cumbersome, the target audience is not clear. What’s more, those websites do not meet the user’s web habits andhumanity. In order to provide children with healthy&safe and easy to use network servicesplatform, we need to build more professional and targeted websites. In understanding thecharacteristics and needs of children based on the discussion of children’s web interface design, which will construct an environment conducive to better mental and physical growth anddevelopment of children’s websites, that is of practical significance and research value. This paper attempts to research the background and relevant user groups of children’sphysical and psychological characteristics, combined with existing interaction on web design andvisual communication design related theories are discussed and summarized in line with usercharacteristics and needs of design theory and methods, and eventually put into practice.Introduction part of the article the first chapter of major research topics related to thisbackground and status, and its purpose and significance of such research is described. Chapterinteraction from the web theory and characteristics of the user to start, first described interactiondesign concepts and features, and thus explains the website content and principles of interactiondesign, user experience and analysis to the value and importance as the center, then useinformative method, respectively, from the physiological, psychological and cognitivecharacteristics of children in the user’s behavior and needs. The third chapter is the introductionof the previous section, while conclusions of the study of children’s web site is designed andprinciples of visual design, visual design methodology of the user experience and interactionwith the concept, from the information frames, style, layout, graphic design, color application, text design, buttons, navigation and design of several aspects of the animation to explore.Chapter IV is an excellent home and abroad were cited examples of children’s site, and from the perspective of visual and interactive analysis of research, summarizes the useful information forthe later part of design practice to provide a reference. Chapter V is a design practice section, thissection prior to the study of the content and theory to the actual operation, and completed amajor design work, and further confirmed the previous findings. The last article on this subjectwas evaluated and concluded.
