Mongolian long narrative folk song "Gada Meilin" is a very important one of China’s Mongoliannarrative folk songs works, It truly reflects story that the herders warlord occupation of land in order todefend their grassland and pastures, struggle with strong evil forces under the leadership of the Gada Meilinin the first half of the20th century. Uprising ultimately failed, Gada Meilin died heroically, but GadaMeilin delayed to put the shortage of time, eventually he helped the herders to fight for their grassland. Tocommemorate the hero, people sing and play Gada Meilin’s heroic deeds in the form of narrative songs. In1950,"Gada Meilin" was translated and published in the "People’s Literature", from then on the folk songbecame very famous, it has been adapted into many genres of vocal music, instrumental music and othermusic.This paper research on cello concerto "Gada Meilin", summarized this folk song transcriptions uniqueartistic characteristics, this works used the musical elements of the Mongolian several times, it’s not only asuccess stories of the creation of Chinese and Western composition techniques, but also a large number offolk songs instrumental of one of the outstanding works. The article also solo instrument cello playingtechniques to analyze, from the form and content of the playing characteristics of the cello Western musicalinstruments playing Chinese folk music is the use of the instrument itself to integration with the music.At last, through the work of analysis and research, summed up the emotional and aestheticcharacteristics shown in this work, and trying to find in the works to match the music, to summarize severalfeatures of the cello National Composition, combined with the Western music of "nationalization" of course,extract the author’s views and suggestions.
