The Village God’s Power

Folk religion has always been in our country has profound mass base, especially in the rural areas, In nowadays, our country applies the "rural politics village governance" national political power of management mode, folk religion can remedy the defects of the mode greatly.The forefathers and the village worship of God in villages of The Zhuang nationality have a powerful influence on villagers.This study is from the angle of social anthropology,in the attitude of understanding the local culture, based on doing fieldwork for three month, choosing a village of Zhuang nationnality——Dushan village,Liangjiang town,Wuming county. In the clues of Dushan village’s feng shui was damaged,the social of god temple and ancestral hall,an unbroken sequence of Accidents, cause the villagers panic. Ultimately, villagers repaired the village god temple and ancestral hall depends on their own strength,giving a description of the setting of events and the local religious background. Through the observation and interviews villagers,knowning the events have obtained satisfactory termination. More people have got peace of mind from the village god,it connected simple cultural phenomenon with rural society.Village god faith of Zhuang villages research as a mean of, with a possible "rational" method,understanding "view of world"in the specific ceremony in behavior and local villagers’concepts,and the "laws" behind the knowledge of the local villagers daily behavior.The reserch contribute to revealing the internal orders and operations,and then make the village god faith became an important cultural resources in constructing harmonious society.
