As a child from the countryside,know that education is deeply important to one's growth.Good education can give a person a new starting point,a new platform,or even a completely different life...But in reality,in some rural areas,because the limitation of objective factors such as traffic,economy and so on,there are still a lot of rural children are "trapped" in the mountains,can't receive good education of "going out",the rapid development of urbanization has led to the "hollowing out" in the countryside,with a large number of rural migrant workers.Children and the elderly have to stay at home.It is a blessing for many rural teachers to keep these children in the countryside to receive the protection of education.Some teachers may be abandoned good conditions of cities,chose the countryside,while others may be just choose to be back home,in either case,all is worth remembered and admired.According to official statistics,the number of left-behind children in China now stands at sixty million,while the number of rural teachers in China is less than 3.3 million and going to be less more.The film tries to depict "portrait" of the rural teacher group through the record of a teacher's work and life located in Baishi villag,Yuexi county,Anhui province,and tries to reflect the unique spirit of rural teacher group,also hope to be able to let more people to concern with the rural education situation.
