The Application Of Traditional Landscape Painting’s Space Awareness In Environmental Ceramic Art

Environmental pottery as a form of expression of public art, if a good condensationaesthetic habits and values of a nation, to extract the essence of national culture, so thatwould be more likely to be popular and recognized. Traditional Chinese landscapepainting, the style of one of the most representative of Chinese culture, which contains awealth of traditional philosophy and form of expression. In addition, environmentalceramics and landscape paintings in the understanding of space, there are plenty incommon, especially the spatial expression of the landscape, its unique sense of space,and no doubt the environment has a lot of pottery design inspiration.This article as a starting point, awareness of space on the landscape, to the spatialexpression of the landscape and the idea is introduced into the design of environmentalpottery, guide environment pottery design. In this paper, from the formal beauty of theperformance space of the environment pottery itself, and the harmony of the surroundingspace environment, the public appreciation of the spiritual space to create a relationshipare discussed, divided into six aspects of their argument. Effectively carry forward theenvironmental pottery design landscape space to create a way to reference and traditionalculture.
