Yixiang Yang is the authority of the history of the historical studies. He has achievements in scholarship. And he becomes the prober, constructer and impellor together with Shouyi Bai, Ze wu,Da Yin. Yixiang Yang made the contribution in ancient Chinese history and history of the historical studies, particularly notable in the latter. The first part is the Lifetime of Yixiang Yang. He was borned in Jinxiang country, Shandong province. He was admitted to Peking University in1936.He was interested in history of the historical studies and stick to it. The research of theory discussed his research about Chinese theory with " Introduction to Chinese historical studies " in the "The summary of Chinese historical history research" as example. The third part is about the research of Chinese ancient history and modern history. The research of Chinese ancient history is expanded in three aspects:the origin of Chinese history, the summary of Pre Qin history and historian and the study of history work. The research of modern history is divided into Bourgeoisie history and Marxism history。Bourgeoisie history included four stages:the pioneer of Asset class, the establishment of the history, development and going backwards. Marxism history contained three stages: establishment and improvement, development. The forth part is the feature of the research of Yixiang Yang’s history study. Firstly, the research expanded the extent of Chinese history study. Secondly, it had a through from ancient to modern. The feature of the study of Yixiang Yang included as follows:paying attention to the basic work of historical materials, both focusing on the theory and empirical research, macro and micro were combined and treating history concept to keep pace with the times.
