This study aimed to explore the relationship among pride, characters strengths and life satisfaction of the middle school students.Based on the resualt of middle school students participated the investigation with the Authentic pride and Hubristic pride scale, adolescent life satisfaction scale and VIA-Youth scale, and the results were correlated with statistical analysis, draws the following conclusion:(1) Middle school students’ authentic pride score higher than the hubristic pride. Authentic pride existed significant interaction of grade and gender. The scores of boys in high grade three were highest and significantly higher than other grades; The scores of girls in junior grade three were highest and significantly higher than the high school each grade. Hubristic pride existed significant interaction of grade and gender. Both boys and girls’ score in the junior grade one、 high grade three were the lowest, significantly lower than all other grades, but boys elevates along with the grade score wavy growth, while girls wavy reduce.(2) Middle School students’ characters strengths Questionnaire Revised Edition was comprised of multidimensional and80items. The questionnaire has good reliability and validity, can be used as the measurement and evaluation of our country middle school students’characters strengths of measurement tools.(3) Middle school students’signature strength were appreciation, gratitude, forgiveness, fairness and love of learning. Junior and senior high school students’signature strength has little difference. Middle school students’ character strengths in appreciation, love, brave, curiosity and perspective has significant gender differences, in appreciation, love and curiosity, girls scored higher than boys, bravery and perspective in scoring lower than boys.(4) Middle school students’ authentic pride and satisfaction with life significant positive correlation, and hubristic pride significantly negative correlation.(5) Middle school students’ character strengths and life satisfaction correlation。(6) Pride what has partial mediating effect on the character strengths and life satisfaction.
