E-C Translation Of Commercial Contracts From The Perspective Of The Register Theory

Since the reform and open up policy, China has achieved remarkable development in the international economic transaction. As a result, the commercial contract plays an increasingly important role in the economic field. Due to it’s special social function, the commercial contract bears unique stylistic features. But, some Chinese versions of the English commercial contracts are not so standard and appropriate. Based on a great deal of translation of commercial contracts, this thesis tries to study the Chinese translation of the English commercial contracts from the perspective of the register theory. The paper aims to provide others some useful information as well as practical strategies about the translation of commercial contracts by analyzing some points that are easy to arouse translating mistakes.
