With the rapid development and change of science、technology and the internet,the distance between people becomes more and more closer,and contact and information exchange are more and more frequent.The changes of the times and the development of economy make the focus people pay attention to has changed a lot,new things and phenomena emerge in a endless stream.Language is a mirror, recording the features of a certain period, from which we can see the change of the times. Language and society two contributing factors that can influence each other, on the other hand, the social changes also influence the language,the emergence of popular is one of the evident examples.China entered the" Twelfth Five-Year Plan", the Chinese society is in the span transition period, a variety of social phenomenon created a large number of popular words. popular words entered a period of prosperity. In last few years,domestic experts and scholars on the popular language had given a high degree of attention to the popular language.The relevant articles and works could be seen often.Popular language is a particular phenomenon in the field of language, this paper is based on the previous research achievements,trying to demonstate and study populai language systematically.The author emphatically study the popular language effect from sociology,psychology,aesthetics,pragmatics,grammer,rhetoric,journasm,c ommunication and other multiple perspectives. In the proper places,according to the needs of expression,proper and appropriate use of language can produce distinct effect differ from ordinary words.It can facilitate the communication between our,and generate differences from general word language, achieve the twice of result with half the effort.
