Reuds Oedipus complex has always been the hot point and difficult problem in theoretical circle. Throughout the domestic researches, it can be divided into two categories:the applied researches and theoretical exploratory ones. But they both have weaknesses. The former is most simply taken as to kill his father and many hismother, butin fact, Freud hasexpressed much more meanings in Oedipus complex than it. Oedipus complex also has its own formation and devebpment process. The latter, theoretical discussions, is mostly focused on the inspection of its authenticity. Judged by the presence orabsence of it. Thisessay dependsthe entrance on Oedipus complex, three issues of it for discussion, and is committed to understand the contributions and limitations of Reud in the art, to tem, and cultural aspects. Oedipus complex is one of his original ideas and thoughts, naturally plays an important theoretical position in psychoanalysis, and must also contains the gain and lossofReud as a theorist. Therefore, to a certain extent, this essay makes up for the vacancy of the domestic research in this are a.By reading the majorworksand criticalliterature ofRieud, the essay proposes three questions on the basis of Oedipus complex:"according to the first-in prejudices rather than objective facts to interpret subjectively","the psychological effect as an intermediary in order to generalize the concept of it" and "using the exaggerated sexual instinct to construct life experience". The first main point is that when Freudhabitually explains the tragedy and the case, the original does notbelong to them, something else is added to form the newunderstanding. The second one is that Oedipus complex as thepsychology concept spreads roughly to the original totem and othernon-psychology, which is the attempt to the psychology of religion inpsychoanalysis. The third point is after expanding the basic connotationof the sexual instinct, the civilization is ruthless rebelled, and the conflictbetween civilization and instinct is never ended.Of course, Freuds thinking, which is generous and also hasfar-reaching effects, contains inherent contradictions and theoreticaldepth much more than that, which leaves to the epigenetic tocontinue to open up.
