The responsibility is an important component of quality of primary and social personality. It plays an important role in their psychological development. Rural school students, the level of quality is directly related to the development of the entire national economy and social stability, as China’s vast rural areas affected by the subject of education.In recent years, the problem of middle school students’responsible is becoming increasingly academia and the media and other concerns. In previous studies, it has been related to academic responsibility, the collective sense of responsibility, social responsibility, family responsibility, and so on. However, in the study, the urban areas’ study are more than the rural areas’; in research, The multi-dimensions research of rural middle school students’responsible not much, The influencing factors of responsible development are more, but the classification of influencing factors not much.Therefore, we divided it into the academic sense of responsibility, collective responsibility, social responsibility, family responsibility, and others a sense of responsibility of the five dimensions, each dimension consists of eight options, based on multiple dimensions, then study the responsibility status quo and the influencing factors. We selected H Township Middle School Huang pi Wuhan as the research object, and randomly selected from the junior high school three grade7class as samples, collected297effective questionnaire for the SPSS17.0data processing and analysis. First, study the overall condition of the rural middle school students’responsibility. Second, it analyzes the variables of personal characteristics and family characteristics variables of their academic responsibility, collective responsibility, social responsibility, family responsibility and others responsible development. Among them, the personal characteristics variables, the junior high school students their own property, family characteristics variables, mainly refers to the junior high school where the family has some of the characteristics.Through the study, we initially obtained the following conclusions:First, from the whole, the overall development of rural middle school students’responsibility in good condition, and it can be considered a normal distribution. However, the development of different dimensions of responsibility is not balanced, the development status of collective responsibility is the best, followed by family responsibility, the development that to others a sense of responsibility is the most unsatisfactory. Second, the impact on the development of rural middle school students’responsible from the individual characteristics variables and family characteristics variables, personal characteristics variables greater impact, especially the most obvious effects of academic variables. Ranked variables in the personal characteristics variables, only child of non-siblings in the responsible development of the junior high school students have a major impact; who whether class cadre variables have a greater impact on the development of rural middle school students’ responsible or not. In household characteristics variables, only the variable of educational level of parents of junior high school academic accountability development had a significant impact.At the end of this study, the author standing on social work perspective, starting from the three levels of casework, group work and community activities, put some suggestions to improve the rural students’responsibility.
