After a long period of silence in the early days of its foundation, the Ford Foundation had a reformation and restructure under the1950s. After that,it became an international foundation with international influence from a subsidiary one of Ford Motor Company. It took large-scale charitable assistance activities overseas.of which, technical assistance to India is not only one of its earliest first overseas aid projects, but also the most representative of the foreign aid assistance activities. Since the establishment of the New Delhi office in1952until the introduction of the Tax Reform Act of1969, India has been the focus of the Ford Foundation overseas aid. The technical assistance of the Ford Foundation played an important role in the socio-economic development in the early postwar period in India, but due to the lack of preliminary investigation, part of their assistance also planted an unstable factor for the post-economic development of India. In addition, the Ford Foundation technical assistance to India is an important testing ground for new U.S."Trinity" diplomatic mode, which is NGO, MNC and the government.
