Self-imposed limit of the problem has been related to self-esteem, self-imposed restrictions in the specific context of the research is still limited, mainly in the classroom situation in a particular subject, use the I AT to test implicit self-esteem research is also limited in the junior high school students, the study of the situation a long time, the context of cooperation and competition has also been a concern of school education, the competition is the cooperative nature of the individual nature the definition of the competitive situation for the individual competition and cooperation and competition, the so-called cooperative competition refers to the group members cooperate to complete the task.By measuring explicit self-esteem and implicit self-esteem, filter out, and the experimental intervention, study subjects in different competitive situations, self-handicapping level, and gender will affect self-handicapping factors.Experimental results show that:in explicit self-esteem, self-esteem of students in different grades levels are different, the highest level of self-esteem of ninth-grade students, seventh grade students to respect the lowest level; the same grade boys and girls self-esteem in general quite; Explicit self-esteem and implicit self-esteem are two relatively independent parts, predict students ’self-imposed restrictions on plays a different role; in different competitive situations, students’ self-handicapping situation is different, cooperative and competitive group of students than the individual competition The group’s easier for students to self-handicapping; In different competitive situations, gender, self-handicapping certain prediction, forecasting role of boys than girls obviously.
