Self-esteem is the core of the personality, it is one of the important indicators ofmental health. Psychologists and sociologists gave much attention to it. The secondaryvocational school students’ self-awareness easily to be misled, therefore affecting theindividual’s self-esteem. However, there are few studies on the Secondary-vocationalschool students’ Explicit Self-esteem, Implicit Self-esteem and the intervention groupstudents’ self-esteem. In this study, the361students from a Secondary-vocationalschool students were selected as the main research object. Rosenberg Self-esteemScale was used to measure the Secondary vocational school students’ ExplicitSelf-esteem. Adopted of cluster sampling method, to test40people IAT ImplicitSelf-esteem, The people who selected from in the same five profession students thequestionnaire was tested. To study the Secondary vocational school students’ ExplicitSelf-esteem and Implicit Self-esteem, For those with lower Self-esteem Level24people were screened out. After interviewing identified12people as the interventiongroup and the last12people as the control group. Using the group counseling toenhance the intervention group students’ self-esteem, so as to study the effectiveness ofself-esteem enhancement training.The results showed that:(1)The Secondary vocational school students’ Explicit Self-esteem significantdifferences in terms of whether or not one child(p<0.001), whether or not students’leader(p<0.01), whether or not from urban or rural areas(p<0.05); In terms of grade,age, gender, major,The results proved that it did not significantly different (p>0.05).(2)The Secondary vocational school students’ Implicit Self-esteem tend toself-positive perception.(3)There was no significantly different, as regard to Explicit Self-esteem andImplicit Self-esteem.(r=0.217).(4) After using the group counseling to enhance the intervention group students’self-esteem, the pretest and the post-test results are significantly different (p <0.001)Members of the control group had no significant difference. The results showed thatthe group counseling had enhanced the secondary vocational school students’self-esteem.
