Place Helps Realize Peace Of Mind Can Be Homeland

In history, Guangxi province has been a place for exiling relegated officials for a long time. A large number of literati from Central Plains of China immigrated to Guangxi and wrote a lot of poetry there in Tang and Song dynasties. They contrasted the differences between LingNan and Central Plains intentionally or unintentionally. We find a featured Guangxi in the natural environment as well as social life in their poetry. Through studies on literary works composed by migrated literati from Central Plains and guided by theories of regional culture and imagery, the author raises a concept of "Guangxi images". The author focuses on analyzing constitute of Guangxi images and the elements that support the Guangxi Images. a case study on a specific literati is given to prove reasonability of the forming of Guangxi images.The article is divided into four parts. In the introduction, discussion about the concept "Guangxi image" as well as domestic and international research and innovative value of the article and practical significance are given. In the first chapter the author illustrates the forming of Guangxi Images. The author explores foundation of Guangxi images by analyzing on natural environment and cultural history of Guangxi and puts forward the maturity of the Guangxi image is in Tang and Song Dynasties. The second chapter is the main body of this article where discussion on the six aspects of Guangxi image are given, hot and desolate place, the hometown of communicable subtropical diseases, a place full of beautiful sight, a place of aboriginal people, banished place. Discussion are given in detail the elements of the six images in the way of "close reading" each part. The third chapter is a reflection of the Guangxi images and case study of Liu Zongyuan which discussing the relationship between Guangxi images and personal experience of the literati and the poetic images beyond the Guangxi. As a case study, inheritance and innovation of the six aspects of Guangxi image are discussed in the works of Liu Zongyuan and made the final vesting that the Guangxi gave Liu Zongyuan the feeling of home at last.
