In the context of globalization in the20thcentury, Xu Xiaobin’snovels is aunique cultural phenomenon in the contemporary Chineseliterature history.Her novels were not received wide attention,butattracted some of the words of praise or blame from critics.Xu Xiaobincalled out a unique voice,she had an unique view. Critics not only agreedof her talent and the connotation of the novels but also put forward thelack of her works.On Uniqueness of Xu Xiaobin’s Novels attempts to analyze hernovels from Xu Xiaobin、the unique female images and the real world,mining the relationship between the personal experience and her novelsand the relationship between the image of women and the realworld.Because of Childhood experience、extensive knowledge and theunique insight into social vision,Xu Xiaobin received a big achievement.Xu Xiaobin observed the women of the real world carefully and havedeep thinking of them. Integrated View on Xu Xiaobin’s numerous works,she divided female images into two aspects; modern society’s ‘excess’ ofthe modern society and ‘urban maniac’. In addition, Xu Xiaobindescribed the relationship of mother and daughter、elder sisiter andyounger sister, interpreted the confrontation of women. In the backgroundof material and spiritual contradictions, it is valuable that Xu Xiaobin has a unique concern to the real world. She is a writer of ‘writing elsewhere’,although she didn’t write the real world directly, she write writing‘elsewhere’ meticulously.To sum up, Xu Xiaobin is a rich talented and maverick womanwriter, her novels don’t belong to any one genre, her works can’t attachthe label era, but, these are show the wisdom of Xu Xiaobin and theunique charm of her works.
