Comparative Study Between Chinese And Vietnamese Idioms

The idiom is the essence of language, the product of history and the crystallization of recognition. China and Vietnam are close neighbors, although these two countries share many of the same in the cultures, there are many differences. Into the past few years, more and more Vietnamese start learning Chinese, Chinese language teaching and researching are more and more attractive. So far, many Vietnamese scholars study the contrast of Chinese and Vietnamese idioms research from many angles, but the study of Proverb contrast-the comparative study on the vocabulary of human body structure yet not to be found. This article is to focus on proverbs with the word of the body parts, and identify the difference. The paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter:the close relationship between language and culture. Language and cultural characteristics should be mentioned as the Chinese and Vietnamese language parts of the body structure need be classified. And then again according to the classification results from the general to the specific.The second chapter:the author utilizes the "Chinese Sayings Dictionary" to count and study Chinese with fixed parts of the body word phrases, and then, in-depth, study Chinese and Vietnamese language idioms to define and point out the common ground. In accordance with the idioms with the word of the body parts to identify the characteristics of the source of the proverbs and to have comparative analysis on the structure of these idioms thus to pick up cultural connotation in the word phrase of the body parts.The third chapter:Though figures of speech, reflecting from various parts of specific proverbs of human psychology, will, feelings to have comparative analysis and also point out that the parts of the similarities and differences between Chinese and Vietnamese idioms.The four chapter:The author have a survey of fourth-grade students learning proverbs in the Chinese Department of the Hanoi University. The author personally thinks that the Chinese proverbs from learning to practice is a perplexing process, so it is necessary to have an appropriate teaching method to enable students to master. In the fourth chapter, the author also raises the purpose of certain matters of idiom teaching, which is to be able to provide some reference for proverb teaching.Finally, the author has a collection of various materials of301Chinese and Vietnamese idiom s parts of the human body, and398proverbs of human body parts. The author hopes to contribute a reference to the idiom of teaching and translation work.
