Guo Ruoxu is a famous painting theorists in the northern song dynasty, his masterpiece "T’U-HUA CHIEN-WEN CHIH" record the history of painting from the Tang dynasty Wuzong dating to the Song dynasty Xining dating, about two hundred years,"T ’U-HUA CHIEN-WEN CHIH" contains the rich historical data and the author’s views about aesthetic and painting. The "T’U-HUA CHIEN-WEN CHIH" continue recoding the history of painting later in years Zhang Yanyuan’s famous paintings in Past dynasties. Deng Chun the painting continue, as newcomer be affected deeply. As Chinese one of the most important works of aesthetic and painting, scholars in later are attracted, it is necessary to search for history of painting from the late tang dynasty to northern song dynasty.it is a crucial documents for our country.Based on the background of the Classical Chinese Aesthetics,Guo Ruoxu was born at the great collection of flowing family, accumulation as well as a development and innovation, Guo Ruoxu condenses into his aesthetic ideas. In the "T’U-HUA CHIEN-WEN CHIH" his the main aesthetics are three:Qinyun, printing and Biyi.They each other between the connection an organic whole, have significant influence on later generations, with the current also has the important enlightenment.
