The Comparison Between The Animal Decorations Of Centralplains And Grasslands In Bronze Age

The animal decorations played the important role in the plastic arts of central plains and northern grasslands in Bronze Age. The bronze vessels were developed quickly in this period. Sacrificial vessels, weapons, food vessels were fationable in central plains. However, the northern grasslands’ bronze vessels took the harness, weapons and daily vessels as the principal things. The bronze vessels in central plains and northern grasslands regarded the main functions of plastic arts as adornment. They have the characteristics of times and districts. The animal decorations are the most outstanding one. Differences of environment, weather, cultural and manner of production caused the different aethetic characteristics, forms, design features.This article compares the angle type animal decorations, wing type animal decorations, monster animal decorstions in central plains and northern grasslands to find out the different individualities, characters of animals decorations in different cultures as well as the national characters, region charactrs, symbolic characters and totem in common.
