Preliminary Study On The Bronze Cookware Of Qinhan In Central China

The article is based on the 129-seat burial materials found in the bronze Cooking Vessels of the qin and han dynasties.Based on the previous research— results,thepaper discusses the appearance shape,type,evolution and other related problemsof the bronze Cooking Vessels in the area.In the qin and han dynasties,the geographical range of the central plains was roughly divided into the modern administrative divisions of most parts of henan province,South of Hebei province,southern Shanxi Province and the west of Shanxi Province.The main types of cooking utensils popular in the qin and han dynasties were Stove,oven,fu-cauldron,mou-cauldron,zeng-steamer,yan-steamer,pan,hot pot so on.This paper use archeology methods to classify changes of each shape and divide into different period,and study some inscriptions and emblazonries.Based on the historical background,this paper analyzes the features of the time and historical status of the bronze Cooking Vessels in qin and han dynasties.During the qin and han dynasties,changes in the shape and structure of the bronze cookware in the central plains and the inscriptions and decorations were changed.This change is in the feudal central government establish,against the backdrop of social and economic development,the ideological field,the early han huang Lao theory and immortal thoughts prevailed,stone-working Confucianism established,basic to establish the appearance of han culture in the central plains;The development of iron ware,lacquerware and porcelain in the field of production and life has led to the conversion of bronze wares from the sacrificial vessels to the utility,and the style to simplicity and gentleness.
