With the development of society, more and more overseascompanies invest in China. English has become one of the mostimportant elements of personal ability. As an English teacher invocational school, learning to communicate in English is the mainpurpose of teaching. Written assignment can’t allow students to speak.According to the actual needs of students, the thesis aims atstrengthening the oral assignment of English teaching in vocationalschool.Most theories of oral assignment at home and abroad aretheoretical other than practical study. Most theories lack of practicaloperation and didn’t give enough systematic teaching cases. There areeven fewer theories of oral assignments for vocational school. I hopethat through some practical research, I can give a more systematicdiscourse, so that there will be a greater practical significance.The assignments are the supplement and stretch of EnglishTeaching. With a special, positive meaning, oral assignment makes upthe shortage of classroom teaching. However, due to the differences ofstudents’ knowledge, acceptance, ways of thinking, the degree ofdifficulty should be adapted to the individual differences.Through the analysis of teaching characteristics and role of oralassignment, the thesis discusses the content, the diverse and interestingform of feedback of oral assignment. Furthermore, the thesis includesthe following contents: investigating the form, putting forward themeaning of giving advice and proposing a wide range of evaluation.The implementation of oral assignment meets the goal of peopleeducating in vocational school and help increase studentsemployment weights.In order to demonstrate in this study for the feasibility and practical effect of vocational English, the research involves as many as43students whose specialty is financial and fashion design of a secondaryvocational and technical school. The experiment started with the firstsemester of the2011school year and lasted for one semester.
