The Inspiration Of Doctrine Of Good Human Nature Of Mencius To Contemporary Chinese Moral Incentive Mechanism

The problem of the morality was always the concerned focus of the party and government, also was the key fields in the academic circle. Moral incentive mechanism as an important means to further strengthen the moral construction was treasured by all walks of life, especially with the development of the socialist modernization, on one hand the phenomena of moral anomie and landslide was aggravating increasingly; on the other hand, people’s spiritual demand also increasingly rich and diversified. How to establish an effective moral incentive mechanism to improve people’s moral realm became the realistic subject before the people. The doctrine of good human nature of Mencius as the orthodox Confucianism was the core of Chinese civilization and essence, which contained a large number of resources about moral incentives that we could use to establish our country’ moral incentive mechanism. Therefore, this paper was to explore the inspiration and value of doctrine of good human nature to contemporary China’s moral incentive mechanism in order to find out the available resources to serve for our country’s moral incentive mechanism construction.The thesis mainly included the following several parts.The part of introduction mainly introduced the researchful meaning of the thesis, simply hackled the disquisitive conditions of the domestic and foreign academic circles about this problem, and pointed out some problems and the insufficiency existing in present research.The first chapter basically introduced two aspects of the content:on the one hand, to introduce the meaning of incentives and mechanism, the types of moral incentive mechanism and the principle of establishing moral incentive mechanism, and then to make the definition of the moral incentive mechanism from the angel of science. On the other hand, analyzing the present situation of our country’ moral incentive mechanism including achievements and problems.The second chapter introduced emphatically the inspiration and value of doctrine of good human nature to stimulate the moral drive, including four aspects:how to stimulate the main body’ moral need, encourage main body to set up moral belief, inspire subject to internalize morality consciously and excite main body to improve their moral realm. The third chapter discussed the problem of how to design an effective moral incentive path in the visual angle of Mencius’ theory of original goodness of human nature. Moral incentive mechanism could not be divorced from the control subjects, therefore, this section mainly focused on Mencius’ thinking about government, schools, families, and subject itself that played an important role in incentiving subjects to strengthen their moral cultivation, combined with the second chapter of Mencius’ discourse about the subject of moral drive in order to establish an effective moral incentive mechanism that government, school, family and personal contacted with each other to stimulate the moral subject internal moral motivation, and ultimately realized the purpose of improving the level of the main body’morality.
