| Higher vocational education belongs to a special type of higher education.Comparing with the common higher learning institutions, higher vocational educationhas different features in the aspects of school running and talent training. Due to thelow entrance threshold, the irregularity of students’ qualities and learning abilities, thestudy psychological problem of this type of special college students has becomeincreasingly common in various degrees.On the basis of many cases and questionnaire data, it is found that highvocational students have six psychological problems of study, including studyingweariness, inferiority complex, psychological anxiety, tired of psychology,psychology of blind obedience, and psychological frustration. The main reasons forthese psychological problems of study are lack of correct learning motivations,inappropriate learning methods, excessive study pressures, and self-cognition bias.On the basis of above research results, it is found that there are still some problems inthe ideological and political work, higher vocational schools only focus highvocational students’ ideological morality quality, cultural and scientific quality,competency and physical quality, but students’ psychological education and trainingof good psychological quality have been neglected. Besides, it still lack of some basicquality political work cadre who are engaged in mental health education and a pieceof full-time mental health education team with high quality which cooperate with thepolitical work cadre, so it is very necessary to strengthen the mental health educationfor Students in higher vocational colleges. According to some above mentionedquestions which related to the learning psychological problems for Students in highervocational colleges and the mental health education work for higher vocationalcolleges, the author considers the students should learn the mental health educationfrom the following three aspects, that is, preventability education, promotioneducation and issue education. Specifically speaking, it should improve theunderstanding and pay more attention to the mental health education; enhancing theresearch about mental health education; innovating the education system andreforming the curriculum design; stimulating the student’s academic motivation;developing the student’s interest and the good learning quality; strengthening thelearning psychological counseling. All in all, we should combine the psychological health education and theideological education in the work dealing with psychological health education inProfessorship Education. It promotes the ideological education of higher vocationalcollege, which will be further perfected. It also enhances the ideological education asa scientific, predictable and directive one, which plays a positive role of improvingideological education work in higher vocational college. |
