The Countermeasures And Thoughts On The Improvement Of The College Students' Mental Health Education

Generally speaking, the mental health education of college student, facing more complicated environment and more heavy responsibilities, could not meet the development of the situation. Therefore, the enhancement and improvement of the college students' mental health education is extremely urgent and affords no delay.This paper gives a concerning dissertation and research on strengthening and improving the mental health education of college student in the following five parts: The first part elaborated what is the mental health, what criteria it has and what implication it gives. The second part has carried on the historical review, the present situation outline and the future to the university student mental health education forecasts. The third part has analyzed the present mental health situation of the college student, the central mental problem and the factor which affect the mental health of the college student. The fourth part elaborates the main questions existing in the mental health education of college students from the following aspects: ideological recognition, practical working and troop construction. The fifth part proposed some countermeasures to strengthen and improve the mental health education of college students.From author's consideration, the so-called mental health education of college student is such an action, in which, the educator, according to the mentall and mental development characteristics of the college student, takes advantage of some relative theory and technology of mental, pedagogy and mental medicine to help the student to build a fine mental quality, enhance mental function, display potential fully, receive comprehensive improvement in quality and the individual harmonious development.According to the investigation and test to the college student in several colleges since 90's 20^th century, the college students in our country have become the community with mental barrier, the mental disease because of the mental question has become the primary cause which resulting in the college students temporarily leaving school, leaving school and even committing suicide.
