The Research On Korean Elderly Art Groups In Yanji

With the society being in the twenty-first Century, China has entered an ageing society and become the country with the most elderly population in the world. There fore, the improvement of the elderly life quality is also getting more and more attent ion from the government and the society. Since the PRC was founded, the Korean-C hinese have lived together in the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture. Under the care of the Party and the government, such art groups have been established, in orde r to inherit and develop the Korean traditional culture heritage, as Yanbian Song andDance Troupe, Yanbian Drama Troupe, Korean Art Group of Yanji and other profes sional arts groups. Since the Chinese economic reform, with the society being into th e elderly society, some artists retied from the professional arts groups and other art a mateurs in the society have helped to promote the establishment and development of Korean elderly art groups in Yanji in different degrees. And they have also made a great deal of contribution to the art demand of Korean-Chinese in the whole countr y and the popularity of Korean art. Korean elderly art groups in Yanji have organize d and carried out various activities which has been top-ranked nationwide. And it h as caused more and more social attention. However, the research on elderly art group s’activities during the near20years is still in the beginning stage. While the resear ch on Korean elderly art groups’activities in Yanji is still in blank stage.This thesis has researched on Korean elderly art groups’activities in Yanji. Furt hermore, this thesis has also chosen six representative and influential art groups durin g different stage as the research objects. They are Yanbian Pine Art Group, Yanbian Changbai Folk Art Group, Yanbian Sunset Glow Art Group, Yanbian Arirang Art Gr oup, Yanji Hometown Art Group and Yanji Elderly Teachers Art Group. At the same time, this thesis also has colleted, collated and analyzed related information of these six art groups’activities, studied their histories and developments from their foundati on till now, researched their art activities and features and gave my suggestions on t hem. Through the regional research on Korean elderly art groups in Yanji, this thesis gave some references and guidance suggestions on how to establish and develop the whole nations’elderly art groups.
