The Modernity Poetic Construction Of Prose

This thesis takes modernistic poets as the investigation target,"Modernity" as the breakthrough point, systematically and comprehensively analyses the prose of the1930s modernistic poets, trying to find out the common aesthetic characteristics of the prose. This thesis attempts to analyze from both internal and external to this point of view:From the internal spiritual temperament, the poets are impacted by both Chinese classical literature and modern literature in the west, showing the conflict and the integration between tradition and modernity; at the same time, the poets are impacted by social transformation and personal fortune changes, they often have deep sentimental mood, which lead to a general "nostalgia"; in addition, the poets often emphasize themselves in the prose, showing a strong individual independence. From the external technique of expression, firstly, is the modernity characteristics of material selecting and structure arranging; secondly, introducing performance skills of modernistic poetry. Using modernist technique of expression just like symbol and intimation, a lot of imageries, and fusing the reality and imagination, these all expand the performance in the field of modern prose; thirdly, is the speaking of the modernity characteristics; finally, the connotation of the prose shows beauty of poetry. The prose of modernistic poets has high artistic expressive force, we should pay attention.
